Our mission Statement
At montessori school of laguna beach, we beleive that every child is gifted in their own way. Our montessori classrooms are joyful spaces where curiosity is celebrated, independence is encouraged, and children are guided to explore at their own pace. From toddlers discovering the pride of doing things”all buy myself” to preschoolers choosing work that excites them, to kindergartens diving in to big ideas with their peers, every child’s journey is honored and supported. Our dedicated teachers prepare a nurturing environment that inspires confidence, creativity, and a love for learning - helping each child grow into their fullest potential, both in school and in life.
The Montessori Method
More than a century ago, Dr Maria Montessori, Italy’s first femal physician, discovered a revolutionary truth - children thrive when given the freedom to explore, make choices, and learn at their own pace. She beleived every child carries within them a natural curiosity and endless potential, and she dedicated her life to creating an approach that nurtures both. Today, Montessori schools can be found in all over the world, contnuing her legacy of inspiring joyful learning, independence, and respect for each child as a unique individual.
